uneblinstu Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 I actually enjoyed that quite a bit. Quote
MichHusker Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I think I'm in the minority but I kinda dig that painting Quote

Fastbreaker Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I was impressed with his style, but it does not look anything like Pike did during his playing days. HuskerActuary 1 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I was very impressed with his style and skill. I am not totally convinced it looked like Pike...but hey, sometimes you have to use your imagination a bit. Quote
49r Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I thought it looked like maybe pike had a stroke or something. Still pretty impressive how he can do that painting so fast. hhcmatt 1 Quote
CrazyforNUHOOPS Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I can see Pike in the painting, but with the hair he gave him, it looked more like Conan O'Brien. The guy has talent though. He painted a guy from memory that he probably had never heard of before getting booked for halftime. HuskerActuary 1 Quote
Norm Peterson Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I think there's a photo of Pike with his head turned like that. As soon as he started painting the hair I knew it was Piatkowski. Then I saw Pike standing there and it was clear. But I recognized Pike in the image before the painting was even done. So I, for one, would say I think the picture looks like him. cipsucks Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Cut off an ear. Maybe then I'll be impressed..... Quote
jimmykc Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 And while he's at it, I'll take a slice of American Pie. Quote
Red Rum Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I'm always in awe when I watch an artist do their thing. I cannot draw to save my life unless the drawing in question is stick figures. TheKamdyMan 1 Quote
AuroranHusker Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Seven minutes. Large-scale art. Impressed am I. Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I remember watching Garibaldi on Americas Got Talent. I thought he was pretty darn amazing on there. Would've been cool to see live. Quote
basketballjones Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Well that man is clearly a genius.... Quote
hhcmatt Posted January 15, 2016 Author Report Posted January 15, 2016 If it wasn't for Red Panda, I might consider it the best halftime entertainment of the season though I wondered why he was painting Marlon Brando. Quote
Miles ahead of the rest Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Nothing will top quick change though. So frustrating that we haven't had them back in years. Quote
HuskerFever Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Nothing will top quick change though. So frustrating that we haven't had them back in years. Or maybe they've refined their act so well that they changed so quickly you never even knew they were the halftime entertainment... Quote

Or maybe they've refined their act so well that they changed so quickly you never even knew they were the halftime entertainment... this is a definite possibility I think it was cool the first time or two; but that act doesn't seem to have staying power (like the Shim Shams). Norm Peterson Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Here's the image I was thinking he was painting and, like I said above, it's when I saw him start to do the hair that I realized it was Pike: Red Don, BjoeHusker, fred1212 and 1 other 4 Quote
