I admittedly haven't seen all the prospects out there - transfer or otherwise - but this guy has got to be at the top of the list. I think he could be the next TP. "Oh, look, that guy has mediocre stats until he went to Nebraska".

Gill and fellow Louisville Freshman Terry Rozier?   Gill and Rozier?

Rozier is leaving school for the NBA Draft.

Do they by chance have a Fryar, Craig, or Rathman transferring?

Hell, I'd take a Blakeman or Joseph at this point...anything.

Now that's just crazy talk!  :)

I don't know  --- I would think big guys would have to be higher on the list than this guy considering the need.

Honestly, with the two scholarships left, I think it would be best to bring in two big guys rather than another guard.

At this point in the game, IF we can only get one serviceable big and this kid can shoot well, bring him in.  After watching our shooting woes last year and really to some extent the year before, I would rather get another shooter than a big that will come in and just sit or transfer back out due not being what we need.

I think if we bring in a kid who has to sit out a year, a top-shelf shooting guard is just fine.

We need to find a big who's available immediately, but the other vacancy can go to the best available player at any position, particularly if he has to sit out.

I mean, think about it:  We have Hammond, Jacobson, Morrow and the other transfer spot.  Let's say it's the Brazilian kid.  How many more bigs would we really have room for?

If our options for big men transfers are limited to guys who are just "OK" but we have a chance to land an elite SG for a year from now, I'd spend one of the spots on the SG.

I get that we want to be successful in 2015-16 but right now don't have a roster full of guys like Gill or White...guys that wouldn't come here out of college because we're not high enough on the power conference food chain. Thus, it's in our best interest to grab a guy like that over a role player that will help us immediately because it's all part of building a program. We built our success on TP and it's very probable that we will build on AW3 this year. Do we miss out on the next building block for a probable non-difference maker from the big man waiver wire? I hope not.
