about 13 months ago, we beat wisconsin. kind of weird.

Finally Frank Kaminsky played in a game where he had more fun than when they were beaten @ Nebraska!  :D

I have now firmly established myself as a certifiable jinx by touting the Wildcats as unbeatable all year. Now I know that the Year of the Walter not only destroyed Pitchford's performance but also knocked him off the roster. With that in mind, I will predict that the new season will undoubtedly reestablish the Yankee dynasty and that A-rod will hit at least 70 taters.

Would you also mind predicting that we will lose to Creighton and go 5-13 in conference again next season?

Kaminsky started only 2 games during his first two years at Wisconsin. He didn't transfer. He became the National Player of the Year.

Then there is this:

Frank Kaminsky, the goofy, late-blooming senior who said in October, "I don't think I ever would have made it at Kentucky," because he needed not months but years to develop in Madison

Why is Harrison's racial slur going unpunished?  where is the out cry about it.

I guess because Kamisky's a...I mean he's not a...Oh, I'm just so white and confused.

That's how I feel.

Forget that neighbor?

Forge that Nebraska lover?

Fudge, he (k)need us?

Think of what Bo Ryan has done developing players.  Aren't 3 of his starters from Wisconsin?  Amazing.

Two of the Wisconsin kids were really, really good out of high school.  Dekker was a 5 star and Koenig was a 4 star.  Pretty much everyone else Bo normally recruits are of the 3 star variety.  Kaminsky, Hayes and Jackson fall into that group.  He does a nice job of identifying the guys he wants because more often then not they seem to turn out to be pretty good ball players.

You're right, though.  I can't think of a guy who gets more out of his talent (according to the recruiting services) than Bo Ryan.  His kids play fundamental, hard nosed basketball and it just seems like you can't rattle them.  It sure was fun watching them knock off Kentucky.

When will the state of Nebraska ever produce a kid like Bronson Koening?  or a Sam Dekker?

Or (more realistically) when will the Huskers start developing 3-star kids the way Bo Ryan does?

Wisconsin & Duke are 31-31 at the Half.  Wisconsin came out a little tight & left some FT & lay-up points on the floor.

Duke has Okafor & Winslow in foul trouble with 2 apiece.

Should be a wild 2nd half.

Hey, I saw some Wisky fans in Teletubbie costumes.  They stole that from our student section.

You sure the Tubby family ain't just a big traveling Bball fan family?
