faqlsr Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 ...being knocked out first round again and watching the sweater vests advance has me in a pretty foul mood. The main thing that is keeping my sanity is we are a young team, but we have several holes to fill for next season obviously as has been well discussed here. Quote
The Polish Rifle Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 Yep, throw in the fact we crapped our pants and lost to Iowa in baseball and it has been an ugly day to be a Nebraska fan. Quote

Why do I have the feeling that the Karl Hess effect will be non-existent on Sunday... that clown is a joke of a ref! Hess made even the vaunted ACC kick his sorry rear out of their league officiating pool. Quote

faqlsr Posted March 21, 2014 Author Report Posted March 21, 2014 I hope the Jays destroy Baylor. Nope, can't do it.....you are a better person than me. I have to hear about how awesome they are every day at work and I've had my fill of it. The only good I can take from losing today is that it eliminated the possibility of us losing to them again this season on Sunday. I may have had an HR reportable event on Monday had that happened. cornfed24-7 Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 Yup. Same here. I hope Baylor destroys them. Unfortunately if they play that zone CU wins by 20. Quote
tcp Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 All I know is that there were Jay fans there wearing red for our game and cheering for us. Baylor fans were complete pricks about this game, refusing to acknowledge how slanted the officiating was and how fortunate they were to be on the receiving end of that kind of gratuity. They cheered for us today, I'm returning the favor Sunday. Noah121 and Badgett Fan 2 Quote
rwmctrofholz Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 Such disparity between the level of physicality that was permitted between the Nebraska and Creighton game. Â Neither team even got into the bonus in the first half of the CU game. Â "Gotta adjust to the officiating" hold NO water with me. Â What's the point of having RULES when they are, in fact, being enforced as subjective GUIDELINES? Â Silverbacked1 and 49r 2 Quote

Buglem Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 We bumped into a Baylor fan tonight and he said they were talking in his section about how bad the refs were. Made the game hard to watch even for the winning team. Creighton will struggle to beat Baylor. They gave zero inside presence and are going to get manhandled inside. Creighton better play better than they did today or they will go down hard Sunday. Quote

(If you want to consider the Big East as "major") We've been saying that about Creighton after every star has left the program since Buford. They've earned the benefit of the doubt that they'll be relevant in the future. They'll take a step back next year because that's what happens when you lose the player of the year and three other seniors, but they've been good for long enough that we can't just say this is the last year they'll be relevant in a long time. trickey 1 Quote
HoiBall Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 Sat next to a Baylor fan who I'm pretty sure it was the first basketball game he had ever seen. His comments were beyond annoying, especially with how bad the Huskers were playing. Just morons Quote
