throwback Posted December 6, 2019 Report Posted December 6, 2019 Doc & Fred and quite a few current NU players were spotted at Pius as well last night - not sure if they were there for the ending though. Quote

Teddy had 17 points in the first 9 minutes of the game. He plays point guard quite a bit for them. Initiates the offense but is still their primary scorer (stepped right into Jervay’s role). Got T’d up for chirping at an opposing player. Was constantly flexing at the crowd, mocking the other team’s bench and complaining to the refs. He probably should’ve been T’d up 3 times in the first ten minutes. I see nothing has changed. Quote

Chuck Taylor Posted December 21, 2019 Report Posted December 21, 2019 Couldn't find a thread on Wal Chuol, who almost single handedly took down No. 1 MNorth last night. UNO's interested in him, Tim was reported to have taken a look at him last fall but didn't offer. https://www.starherald.com/sports/big_red_wrap/mens_basketball/nebraska-s-tim-miles-among-coaches-making-rounds-in-omaha/article_1ff6d9d6-9088-5633-83ec-f5d2898930df.html Quote
Jacob Padilla Posted December 21, 2019 Report Posted December 21, 2019 Wal's always been talented but it never translated to consistent, efficient production. It looks like he's finally turned a corner this season. He's got a D-II offer but that's all right now. I'm guessing he's headed for the junior college route. Oh, and Tim Miles still likes him. Quote

Navin R. Johnson Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 A player to keep your eye on is Isaac Traudt from Grand Island. He is a sophomore listed at 6' 8". He has a very good shot with a quick release, has a good feel for the game and can play inside and outside. He has a frame that you can put strength and weight on and I think he is going to explode with offers soon. Would like to see Nebraska show interest early in case he develops into a big time player.
