Im sure something has been in the works.  Flying a kid around the world isnt exactly easy so with him coming over for multiple visits is something he was planning on doing and Nebraska probably had it lined up with the possibility it may be cancelled due to sai's choice.

I was pretty impressed with his movement and shooting in that video.  Looks a lot thicker than I thought as well.  I'd like to have this guy on board for sure, looks to be a big man that can play the perimeter and stretch the floor a little bit.  Let's get him.

K-State, Miami, Utah, Providence that I know of.

Herbert has offers from Kansas State, Utah, Miami (FL) and Providence, and recently visited Providence. Michigan, Boston College and Arizona are also showing interest.

Herbert has offers from K-State, Utah, Miami (FL), Long Beach St, Providence. Interest from Boston College and Michigan

go get him Miles, since Sai is SAIANOYRA(im sad now there were so many phrases and corny jokes for that broadcast teams if we could've snagged Sai, Tai, SoSo and JoJo) i digress, anyway Tyus Jones and Okafor are off are list, we need Turner and thats it for next year, than invest heavily for 2015. I like this kid.

I was of course disappointed about Tummala signing with AZ State but Herbert fills more of a void being more of a 4-5 player instead of a wing like Sai.  If he can play, and we do land him, it could be a very good fit for us.

I like our chances here. He might be able to judge on facilities and staff above any sort of geography issues.

This guy is my favorite prospect out of all of them, signed ir unsigned. The KD build/style of play really intrigues me. As I said before, absolute matchup nightmare with fantastic ball skills for a 6'11 frosh.

PC lost some guys they werent expecting to lose and lost out on some guys they felt they would get.  They have two top 150 players committed so its a good class but they need a big man bad.

Robin Washut:

Unlike Vucetic, Herbert is expected to be able to contribute immediately next season, even at the Big Ten level.  He would likely be a "stretch four" at the D I level. He will be ready to enroll for the start of summer classes.
