Mack is a PG (not SG).

Since UNLV had a coaching change, any chance those 2 guys could get waivers so they could play right away?

Wasn't expecting a jumper. He's passive. Watches the action more than influencing it. Stone hands. Jogs up and down the floor. This was not an impressive highlight vid for me.

Watched it just now. Not impressed at all. Seemed to have be going through the motions. And he was using his size/height to his advantage. He was at least 4 inches taller than anyone. Only highlight I liked was that breakaway and-1 dunk. That's about it though.

Hopefully we can see him on the AAU circuit against some size/players. That'll tell me more than this did in my opinion

It's insane the difference in recruiting attention/focus between this current basketball staff and when Barry Collier took over from Danny Nee.

I remember getting a sick feeling in my stomach when I saw that, instead of juco All-Americans like we recruited under Danny Nee, we were going after 3rd Team All-Jayhawk Conference selections like Kedrick Ford and Danai Young. And the results spoke for themselves back then. Danai redshirted and never played. Kedrick played only sparingly.  But those were the people BC loaded up on when he arrived.

Granted, there wasn't the transfer market then that there is today, but BC was just getting warm bodies in here to fill a roster and it came back to bite him when the 8/5 rule kicked in and he was stuck with players who weren't cut out for the major conference level of ball.
