What do you mean, "just on principal alone"?

They got Akoy and we didn't.

I understand why, of course, still doesn't mean I have to like it.

Go Shox!

(and just to be clear, I don't really care...I'm just messing around)

Still...Go Shox.   :)

I'm pretty bitter, and I'm not kidding. Okay, I am. It's just that I can't stand Wichita St's primary funding machine, so I kind of hate them, too.

Can this end in a tie?

Really, it's Michigan or bust for me.

OK, so anyone else notice what a complete idiot the Wichita State coach is?  He has ELEVEN players averaging double figure minutes.  ELEVEN!!!  Total idiot.  Does he think he knows better than Bill Self?  Too bad Kidney isn't here to start 6 different threads on it.

I like Miles' comment about reflecting and looking at what they need to do different to be competitive in the Big Ten.  I know a staff ought to be doing that every year.  Let's hope they tweak the right things.

Sorry, but Christian Laettner shouldn't have won that award for the best Final Four moment.  Shoulda been that last second dunk for NC State to win the title in '83.  Laettner's shot was not in the championship game.  It didn't give Duke the title.  And they were prohibitive favorites in that game.    That NC State dunk, plucked out of the air on an errant shot by Derek Whittenburg from 30 feet was such an iconic moment.    Jim Valvano running around in disbelief.  THAT was the best Final Four moment I ever remember.

Agreed. The "Survive & Advance" 30 for 30 on ESPN was a peek into the '83 Wolfpack thirty years later.

I wasn't even thinking about the whole Agau situation so now I get it.  I didn't really care who won that game either but really wanted Michigan to win as I can't stand Syracuse.  It should be a great match-up with Louisville and Michigan tomorrow night.  Both deserving teams to be there.

I think we were in the running for him

Its amazing he was rated a 3 star coming out of HS and is now the Wooden award winner.
