Road warriors!!  Almost looked like they were trying to give the game back to Iowa in the last 30 sec. of overtime, but gutted it out.  The moxie they showed to erase an 11 or 12 pt. deficit in the 4th was absolutely incredible!  There's still a lot of conf. play left of course, but to get these last two on the road is HUGE!!  GBR!  🌽🏀💓

We had two big runs, one in late 1st qtr and early 2nd fueled by offense (3 pt shooting), and the other last 2/3 of the 4th qtr and into ot fueled by (dare I say it!) defense.  Kudos to:

our early 3 pt shooting

our late ft shooting and D

BRITT!

their poor ft shooting and coaching

Gonna need hake to bounce back after this couple game funk she’s been in.

petrie has done a hell of a job development on the potential she had last year and trying to fill that void left by Potts these last 10 games.

nice to see nissley see the ball go through the hoop a few times tonight too.

This was actually a big win... looking forward I see 3 W's, 2 L's and 6 50/50's.  Assuming we don't take a bad loss with the on paper W's, 2 more wins puts us in and past that were playing for seating.

Watched the game highlights this morning. We won again !!.    and read the final stats.  We shot a higher percentage in every category overall

.

In the 4th qtr. comeback we shot 72% field goals...100 % 3's (4-4).....and 72% FT.

In the OT we didn't make a FG (0-4) or a 3, but were 10-14 on free throws, which won the game.

We were 82% free throws, overall in game, and Iowa was 55%........a bit surprising considering Iowa used to try to beat you by getting lots of free....free-throws. So, in one sense we beat them shooting the ball.

In the replays and timeouts Markowski was on a mission, every opportunity she was firing up the troops, very animated in the game.

It did seem the others did gain confidence and focus. She had never won at Iowa....until last night. She had the highest +- at 18....shot about 73% from the floor.

Prince was awesome for a freshman having only played 10-15 games. She's my leading candidate for B!G freshman of year.

And there is Hargrove with 11 rebounds. She just gets it.

I'll float this out there....she should start with Markowski.  It could be like Markowski and Potts together. They could become a team, close to controlling the boards....and score.

OK, bye....sorry,  too long winded.

Prince is earning her money tonight

Doing it at Iowa has to feel pretty good for Britt. The Iowa fans have to feel like more pain is about to ensue for their fickle fandom at the hands of Britt Prince and Nebraska!

Did anyone catch Coatney's comments before and after the game and Allison being nt out for the season? And if you look at the injury report she isn't listed as out for the season.
