aphilso1 Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 Well dang. He has quickly become one of our most irreplaceable players. That's not great to hear. Quote
Handy Johnson Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 He’s the REAL X Factor on this Team isn’t he? Huge Ceiling & his ability to play the 5 as others have mentioned let’s you move Essiegan into the Starting Lineup or Mix & Match. Road Wins are at Premium in the B1G & I hope he’s got his Sea Legs by Saturday. Quote
hskr4life Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 My guess is out vs MSU and back for Indiana. basketballjones, cornfed24-7, thrasher31 and 3 others 6 Quote

Will he stay when Berke returns is the question. Quote

HuscurAdam Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 With a full week off before the next game, I imagine they will play it safe and hold him out against MSU. He's too important to risk a setback that could derail his entire season when another week of healing is there for the taking. thrasher31 1 Quote

Depends on your perspective I suppose. To me, it's excellent news to hear that he's able to do some live work already. I was kind of penciling him out until the new year at least so it seems to me like maybe he's a little be ahead of schedule! Handy Johnson and Brick 2 Quote

I'll happily sacrifice a league game or two if it means we can have a fully healthy Berke for the other 18. cornfed24-7 and REDZONEDAN 2 Quote
B-town hoopsfan Posted December 5 Report Posted December 5 If we can win at MSU with Berke out this weekend then this team is definitely legit. Gonna be a tough task as there’s only 15 fouls to go around instead of 20 for the front court. Handy Johnson and EAbby 1 1 Quote

For the season they have 7 guys that average between 7.7 and 12.4. However, they only shoot 25.7 from 3 Edited December 5 by No Place Like the Vault Vinny, thrasher31 and Handy Johnson 3 Quote

We also had 6 days to get ready. Have 6 days for Indiana too. Great opportunity to start 2-0. nuhusker7 and Handy Johnson 2 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 It's either healed, or not. If it is medically healed, and he is cleared to play, you play him. Quote
roscoe Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Maybe he needs to go to doctor that miraculously healed As*worth for blue team. Initial diagnosis was 6-8 weeks then reduced to month and low and behold he plays against Domers on November 30th. Fakers fake! Brick 1 Quote

Sidelines - Nebraska Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Bold prediction: Berke plays limited minutes (8-10 minutes) and gets hot from three randomly on Saturday. Vinny 1 Quote
