Hoo boy it's been a good couple of weeks for the Big Ten!  We have 10 teams inside the KenPom top 40, and 6 in the top 25.  Q1 opportunities will abound in conference play.  Also check out the field in the Diamond Head Classic, that lineup is starting to look sneaky dangerous.  2-1 out there should be goal with 3-0 a possibility.  Gonna be a quick update this morning, so...Here we go!

We will be fine. If we win enough games that we deserve to be in the tourney our metrics will eventually reflect that. This is was really bad game again as very good team.

I agree with this- lot of time to improve that and we still have a majority top 100 KP/NET schedule left.

However, it would have been nice to just take our 5-10 point L and not have TJ fight allll the way back up.

This is the second game this season where we've Kampong'ed a team at the end of the game with a big run

Speaking of which, look at UTRGV.  Woof!  Lost a home game by 32 to #213 Lamar.  That one's gonna sting.  Our Non Con SOS has plummeted now down to #314.  Not good.

and per @hskr4life's request here is the conference rankings:

Ranking of conferences by NetRtg of team expected to go .500 in conference play

Conference Rating Conference Rating
1 Southeastern Conference +19.68 17 Coastal Athletic Association -4.13
2 Big Ten Conference +16.71 18 Big South Conference -4.38
3 Big 12 Conference +16.67 19 Horizon League -5.27
4 Big East Conference +13.69 20 Mid American Conference -5.61
5 Atlantic Coast Conference +10.31 21 Big Sky Conference -5.84
6 Mountain West Conference +5.98 22 Summit League -6.26
7 West Coast Conference +4.77 23 ASUN Conference -6.77
8 Atlantic 10 Conference +4.33 24 America East Conference -7.04
9 Conference USA +1.94 25 Southland Conference -7.44
10 American Athletic Conference +1.85 26 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference -8.82
11 Missouri Valley Conference +0.40 27 Patriot League -8.94
12 Big West Conference -1.65 28 Ohio Valley Conference -11.80
13 Ivy League -1.92 29 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference -13.42
14 Western Athletic Conference -2.01 30 Northeast Conference -14.46
15 Southern Conference -3.00 31 Southwestern Athletic Conference -14.62
16 Sun Belt Conference -3.82

We're just barely holding on to 2nd place.  Got some good chances to help widen that gap today, need Purdue to pull out a win against Texas A&M today and we should also be rooting heavily for Illinois, UCLA and Ohio State today too.  Honestly, it would probably be nice if Creighton could somehow get the upset in Tuscaloosa (but I'm not gonna be holding my breath on that happening, they're a massive underdog). Either way the outcome of that game will be decent for us.

Really need to win 1st 2 in Hawaii  Murray St is borderline quad 2 in NET...and with good conference play will probably be 2.  Hawaii and Charlotte aren't great but would rather play Hawaii cuz it would be road win.  Oregon St is 42 in NET and loyola is in 70s so hopefully 1 of 2 would be our 3rd opponent.

How come Twitter only trends "Creighton" as a topic for me when they win but never when they lose?

All the Husker football guys you follow only really talk about wins for their basketball team.
