Adding a 2nd PG, whether Worster starts or not is not terribly relevant in my mind, frees Brice Williams to play more like the scoring threat he can be without the responsibilty of running the offense. The fact that Worster seems pretty productive in the PG role is just icing on the cake. Happy to have him!

It’s always plus to have a guy like this, just a guy that knows how to run and lead a team, it comes in real handy in February and March when games get tight, I really like this signing, as KZ said allows Brice just to be a free flowing playmaker, whoever they bring in as another vet guard just be a scorer and if we can get Ulis up to speed allows Hoiberg to just be a good solid backup guard and he dosnt need to try and run offense

Exactly. Now Brice can be our KT replacement. That has some advantages to it, as I see it.

The more I read about and watch this guy the more I think he may actually be our starter this season. But we need to get some shooters. I didn't realize CJ ended the year 50-127 (39.4%) and Brice ended at 50-129 (38.8%). Nearly identical. Would not have guessed Brice was as accurate from 3 as CJ was, but CJ did struggle quite a bit down the stretch. Keisei was only 37.6% (76-202). Milicic was 56-149 (37.6%). 

 

We need at least 1, ideally 2 shooters. I want that to be Milicic and Griffiths.

I would be shocked if Worster isn't the starter. 

He can handle the ball, pass really well and play solid defense. 

We don't need him to score double figures every game.

We needed a game manager and that's exactly what we got.

Love it. Really needed a game manager PG, and the great size is huge for us. Need guard depth and he's perfect. Reminds me of griesel, and imo we missed him when he left, that's a rare commodity someone like that who plays hard on D, has size and versatility and can drive the paint too.

 

 

Fred being Fred will also elevate any guy who comes here in their shooting, since he's a shooting coach. But we just need a ball handler who's reliable. Keep crootin! Need more wing size depth and a big man probably. I'm behind on news on mast and if he's back.

Every couple of years I order them and have them shipped to me. It's STEEP but I don't make it back to Nebraska. And like you it's one of the things I miss the most.

My father played on the 1956-57 freshman basketball team at NWU. Plainsmen forever.

Between family and friends, we have Nebraskan houseguests at least 2x per year. I usually ask for them to bring frozen Runzas. And this is probably odd, but the other thing I have them bring is Hy-Vee’s pineapple bratwursts from their butcher counter.
