Nebraska erased a 19-point deficit in the game to tie for its largest comeback of the Big Ten era. The Huskers also won after by trailing by 19 against Iowa on Feb. 23, 2013.

Remember it well, as the '13 Huskers beat Iowa & Minnesota in those final 2 ballgames at the Bob that season before heading to the PBA the following season. A lot of resolve vs Iowa that game, much like tonight! So much fun. GBR

Interesting read to see how they thought of NU ahead of time, I didn't get very far. Several of them seemed to expect NU to win, which kind of surprised me. They're the #6 team in the nation. Yet, maybe the Huskers are gaining RESPECT. GBR

They had the same opinion of Courtney Green as this board did

Kesei has been pulling the string on his 3 point shots the last 6 games or so. He won’t be sure he elite shooter that he can be if he doesn’t fix his mechanics. I don’t recall exactly when it started but he hit the game winner 3 with poor follow through mechanics and it has continued the last 3 games. He had a couple of wide open ones tonight that he didn’t have to hurry to get off and had bad mechanics. Got to get it fixed

Nebraska got more than a fair share of the borderline calls, but all of the egregiously bad calls went Wiscy’s way. Feels like overall officiating was a wash.

Ugh, respectfully disagree. Two of his threes tonight were almost down and rimmed out. I watched him hit 7 in a row during pre game shootaround and then I’d say he was hitting 80% of the threes he took during the halftime warmups. Sometimes it’s just not your night as a shooter. He will be just fine.

I couldn't get to bed until midnight because I was still reeling from last night, and I woke up at 5. Worth it still

-keisei is having a bad stretch of basketball, but I trust him to figure it out. They'll need him to close this thing.

-fred experimented with a super big lineup with the two bigs, Gary, Sam and Brice. Ended up being a good move and I applaud him for making that adjustment.

-this game was pretty much a mirror image of the game last year. Trailed by double digits in the second half, shooter gets unconsciously hot, strap in on defense and force them to beat you in iso ball (Chucky obligated late). Close it out in OT.

-brice comes and goes on defense, but when he sits down and straps in, he's a very good defender.

Won't get into how this impacts the tournament chances, as there's still 9 chances left on the schedule to build upon. Let's let the guys build on this. Illinois I am not confident in, but NW is one they could find a way to steal. I wanted to get 1 out of those 3, and they're already ahead of schedule.

Every Big 10 board I go to says “I’m glad we don’t play them there this year” or “I’m glad we already played them there this year” or some version of “We don’t have a shot there”

PBA is a tough place to play.  One of the best in the conference and you won’t convince me otherwise.  Part of that is the fans.  Phenomenal.  Best bang for the history we have in the entire nation.

Heard Strickland say the same thing last night on his post-game show.  He also demonstrated what he was talking about...on the radio.  I about wrecked my car when I busted out laughing.
