I just looked up the website and it looks like its a new venture from one guy that started some of the other online sites.

The ole Husker Online crew will all be switching over from Rivals to On3. No idea if it will also be called Husker Online or what else that’ll entail (if the Scrolls are included). But that all goes into effect June 1.

I will miss him in the LJS, but yeah, it's pretty obvious you're still going to see him on another platform.

I hasn’t heard that. Yeah, that will definitely be a formidable crew.

Clever title Jimmy.  Sip will be missed.  I just get the feeling that fans and sportswriters alike are over with following college sports.  It's no fun anymore.

I bet it has more to do with the recent management of the LJS than it does anything else.

I could crush him when it comes to naming High School mascots or License Plate numbers but I’ll never forget his unwavering opinion that Tanner Lee was a combination of Johnny Unitas/John Elway…

OWH and LJS are both owned by Lee now, so they're slimming everything down and having symmetry between the two ... even if Sip wasn't going to be let go or the like, it's not a bad time to take a new, likely more secure gig into the home stretch of one's career. I enjoy listening to Sip talk football and sports on the radio but I don't find his opinion articles and the like particularly insightful, but that's OK.
