Probably not. But since the only positive thing Nebraska has achieved in the last few years is put a couple of guys in the NBA you celebrate what you can.

Not many schools can offer the “first NCAA tournament win” pitch.  We’re in an elite group in that aspect.

Is it common for NBA players to show up for Nebraska stuff?

I'd wager the McGowens brothers attended more Nebraska HS games last year than Hoiberg did.

They were truly two guys who seemed to love basketball in general.  Loved seeing them at HS events last year.

Maybe that's why we never actually win one, we would lose our identity and our best recruiting angle.  Then where would we be.
