i love those players that can finagle about a decade of eligibility out of the ncaa before anyone forces them to go get a real job. 4-5 med redshirt years plus regular years can add up! if you play the max games in the redshirt years, yuo can squeeze nearly a full extra season out of it all!

That's likely the one major transfer that's severely hurt NU under Hoiberg & Co. And it really hurts.

Better than my normal average. Thought I saw a clip on Twitter, obviously not the game winner though. Pretty cool for those two, Akol seems like a great kid.

Denim Dawson lasted at Tennessee State one year with miniscule numbers (https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/denim-dawson-1.html), ended up at Angelo State University, a DII school down in Texas. 

 

Bit shocked he didn't give Tennessee State more than a year.

Can CJ Wilcher carve out a major role?

Texas A&M shot just 29.3% from 3-point range last season, ranking 342nd nationally. To fix that, the Aggies targeted Nebraska transfer CJ Wilcher, who drilled nearly 40% of his 3-pointers. Wilcher is an excellent catch-and-shoot sniper, but his ability to come off pindowns and fire on the move makes him such a tougher cover. He's a moving target, so to speak. 

But his path to minutes is not clear. Wade Taylor IV, Zhuric Phelps and Manny Obaseki seem like safe bets to start, but Wilcher also has a strong case to be a piece of that starting 5, especially if Phelps can give Texas A&M's second unit more on-ball juice.

I'm guessing he won't be filling the lock down defender off the bench type role
