Huskerpapa Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 I find it fascinating how the game is called so much different in these games vs regular season. Nothing is called unless blood is seen. Violations seem to almost be non-existent. Quote

tcp Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 cool if Michigan wins the title. We'd have a season record of 2-2 versus the two tourney champs. That's all I got for lemonade. jayschool and Swan88 1 1 Quote
OmahaHusker Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 Screw Michigan. They made it to the championship, but now I'm done with the rooting for the conference. It's post season, has no bearing on our season, and I'm personally tired of Wagner and this little run they're on. Go Cats AuroranHusker and NUtball 1 1 Quote

Go Cats I was going to say that you should be rooting for Michigan so that Nebraska can get a cut of the revenue payout to the Big Ten conference if Michigan wins. But digging into it some more, it turns out that the payouts stop after the Final Four. So if that's who you're rooting for/against, have at it! OmahaHusker 1 Quote
jayschool Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 I'd like to never hear again after Monday that the Big Ten hasn't won a title since 2000, not for Michigan's sake, but for the B1G. Too many SEC/ACC titles in the interim. Six runners-up in the interim, though. Which is OK. Quote
HuskerFever Posted April 2, 2018 Author Report Posted April 2, 2018 I don't know why I see this parallel, but I feel like this year's March Madness championship is going to be a lot like watching a Golden State/Spurs matchup. Quote

I definitely see Villanova similar to Golden State in their offensive ability and depth. I see Michigan as more of a Spurs emphasis of defensive prowess, which is likely the only way they win this game (assuming they also don't shoot as poorly as they did against Loyola). tcp Posted April 2, 2018 Report Posted April 2, 2018 Wolvies are going to have to shoot very, very well to escape this cage. But they can do it. 'Nova will have to have an off night from a couple of players for it to happen, tho. And they've been deadly in this tourney so far. Quote
