Hoping the next two games are utilized as such.  I'm guessing Roby thinks if he makes one mistake he will be sitting bench.  The freshman need to be allowed to play through some of it.

With a team that started in the mid-200's in the KenPom rankings...also that team wasn't anywhere near as talented as our current team.  Not to mention 38-8 against Creighton and a 5 game losing streak to start B1G play.

 

Now, we just played 6 out of 7 games against top 30 teams, three of which are currently top 10 and legit final four type teams.  We were competitive in all of those games, probably could have/should have picked up another win or two in there but we're still young and need to learn how to compete and win.

 

There is reason for hope.

Man, we had a guy complain about every call today as well, it was crazy. The Phoog is pretty cool for sure felt like we were right on top of the action.

Question to those attending: Was it horribly hot in the Phog? Last time I attended, I ended up sweating through my shirt and taking off my sweater. Or maybe it was just hormones.

I was a little warm I guess but I did not think it was hot at all. Pretty tight squeeze in there though until a few people left in front of us. Very good turn out of Red IMHO. George Brett pounding beers at the Wheel pre game was cool. Seeing those guys up close though I love our guys and they fought but KU guys pass the eyeball test for sure.

If any left it wasn't many.  They were into it the whole game.  Still whining about every call.  Decent number of Husker fans at the game.

Coach told a story during the post game about how Roby in practice made a travel that didn't get called by the refs there as he made a pass for a 3 pointer. Roby was beating himself up for a travel that wasn't even called!

Thought the same thing.  He glides when he runs, he looks like a slow can't jump kid, until he slides down the lane and dunks in some guys face.
