Miles got his pants pulled down, on a Sunday, no less, by World Herald NU hoops beat writer, Lee B. Seven partial columns along with four color photos, with stats, of Miles big-man flops. Smith 6-8 254 two seasons, 10 starts, 4.2 points and 3.8 rebounds: Vucetic 7-1 238 played 34 minutes in two seasons: Abraham 6-9 252 22 games 1.6 pts and 4.4 rebounds and Hammond 6-10 235 Started eight games in two years 1.7 pts 2.2 rebounds.

Then Lee B lays into Miles big-man whiffs he couldn't sign.  E Robertson 7-1 290 started 4 frosh games at LSU 0.5 pts and 3.4 rebounds, soph year started seven games, 2.4 pts and 2.1 rebounds,   Chukwu 7-2 226 Providence freshman 2.6points and 2.4 rebounds and Atewe 6-9, 235 1.5 pts and 3.4 as a freshman.

Miles now trying to line up Jordy Tshimanga 6-11 260 lbs.  Has played much basketball until the last four years. Has lost more than 40 lbs.

Miles one day seems all hyped about post season play then cites the democratic process between the players and the administration as the reason they don't want the opportunity to go on regional or national tv and play in a post season tournament and end the season closer to.500.

With the NCAA tournament comes get-togethers and stories start to creep out after a few beers. No doubt many are bs, but with that much smoke there is at least a few sparks of fire. Miles poor- decision process may not be limited to stupid t-fouls.

Things arent adding up!

I dont see him lasting past next year, and may be looking this year. Just sayin.

Dont feed the trolls... This guy also loves Bo pelini and would rather have Scott frost as our basketball coach if he could. Carry on...

And you might be right on a few of these things, but it is after the first couple of paragraphs than you start to confuse me.  Is something going on behind the scenes that you know of that will get Tim canned this Year or Next?

Also it is time for the OWH to do their usually killing of the Husker basketball program articles.  They are kind of like the right of spring in Nebraska.  Never give any answers or suggestions, just throw stuff against the wall and see if it sticks.  Then can sit back and said they were the first to see and hear it.

Just another reason I don't read the OWH at all.  Just like much of Omaha it things it is too big for this backward state.

How is Edwards at Georgia doing?

16.5 minutes a game putting up worse number than Hammond.

Once again a guy like Jordy might end up being a good post player for us eventually if he come here but it's almost inevitable that he's going to be awful his freshman year here.

I would almost prefer taking a freshman center that we can redshirt or a sophomore/junior transfer that has to sit out a year. Grad transfers are just a temporary solution and make this year's problem next year's (assuming we will only have one scholarship to give for next year's class). I'm not denying that a good grad transfer center could really make next year special but I also have a lot more faith in the current roster than some ppl. At the end of the day I guess it would depend on who is available on the transfer list.

That's why I'd like to get both the mystery man from Louiville and the kid from Canada.

Norm, we will be signing at least 2 guys. I like how the jhordy cards are being played as of now. If he doesn't make it to campus, then it won't turn out good. I feel we will get a transfer big of some sort this time offseason too. The transfer development may take even longer than jhordy.

Not if it's a grad transfer.  If it's a grad transfer, there better not need to be any development, or what's the point?

I hopy you're right about Jordy.  And I hope you're right about a grad transfer.

And, truth be told, I wouldn't mind another Anton Gill sitting out a year on our bench next season in addition to the above.

DUDE - I contributed to his negative reputation.  I also seldom read the OWH, just a bunch of guys who thing they work at something other than a small to medium market newspaper.

Silverbacked, sorry, but I really like the phrase "just sayin."

Maybe because part of me is a 13-year-old at heart.  Just sayin.

And what's the board record for most down arrows for one post?  Is golfer3 close?

P.S.  You know how they say orange is the new black?  Well "just sayin'" is the new "no offense, but ..."  Except it's more versatile.

Actually was trying to rip on Golfer.

With all due respect, just sayin is ,at the end of the day, like, you know what I mean, not the most overused lame cliche,IMHO.

haha...it's probably the one thing about Coach Miles and a good number of husker athletes that drives my dad bonkers. The number of times they use the phrase "you know". Coach's post game should would be a few minutes shorter if he stopped saying "you know" so much. Not that we want the show shorter.
