Waiting on two big days in May... Jordy and AW would be major loses.

I think you meant to write "major victories."

I think he meant "major losses."

How about "scathing losses?"

Even I am confused what I meant at this point.

Still need that Snickers, eh?

“At this point, it’s the NBA or Nebraska,” White said

I did like this bit of the article. That's encouraging and should stop all the talk about how embarrassing it would be to the program (and specifically Coach Miles) if they lost a player to Europe.

Sorry to off track your getting-off-track, please continue.

That is very good news, indeed, on Rosenthal with the quote of AW-III.

That's all well and good. But who's your source?

You were that guy in grade school...wanted so much to be right!

ha ha. Why so sensitive... The quote would have definitely better if you would have left out "at this point"...

No, but message board group think is a wonderful thing.

I get that there can be issues with message board group think.

I don't think that's quite the issue here, though.

It's not about what your information was and whether or not it was accurate; it's about what you proposed to do with it.

That's where you ran into problems.

It's kinda like, can we just cross that bridge if and when we get to it?

He idea that Tim Miles can do no wrong is groupthink. Guys like Mike Schaefer even on Twitter today says he has thought all along that White is gone. This is the straw for me. Bad hires, guys leaving for non NBA teams early, etc. I can be a Nebraska fan and not support Tim Miles, just like others did when Barry Collier was here. Keep in mind that none of my Tim Miles issues have to do with things in his personal life, that isn't part of this equation. At some point it's about on court results and not being funny behind a microphone...

But that's the point you aren't getting.

No one is saying that Tim Miles can do no wrong.  But let's let the chips fall before we start jumping to the next step.

Schaefer likely knows as little(or as much) as the next guy in regards to what White is thinking.  Much of the angst is probably due to the fact that good things rarely happen to Nebrasketball and the programs momentum has been going to the opposite direction since No Sit Sunday.  Miles needs White on this team, so hopefully he makes quite the sales pitch...again.

While his family was in town, they met with Nebraska coach Tim Miles, along with White, for about an hour Monday, “getting organized and figuring out a plan of action so this process goes well on both ends,” White said.

“Coach has been supportive of me doing this,” White said. “Some places really try to keep their player and withhold information, but I think he’s done a good job of providing me information.

“Coach hasn’t really said not to go or to go. He’s just given me as much information as possible to make an informed decision. He’s helped me a lot. He’s been on the phone and sent a lot of emails for me.”

There are plenty of reasons to be off the Miles bandwagon. Doing so because of some misguided notion that White is being driven out of here by Miles' personality is one of them.

As far as the groupthink thing...I guess I haven't listened to enough 1620 for me to be able to make the connection between a great college player in Mo Watson, whose lack of size and outside shot make him never likely to play in the NBA, deciding to come back and White, a guy who will have private workouts with NBA teams, potentially leaving.

You say it's not personal, but in almost each shot you take at Miles, you include the "funny guy" act in a derisive fashion. You sure aren't sticking with just basketball.
