Hey, guys and gals just a reminder that we're going to have to get accustomed to a lot of new rules this season. Here's some of the more noticable ones that were implimented last summer: 4 - ten minute quarters ----------- Teams will now reach the bonus and shoot two free throws on the fifth team foul in each quarter. In the four-quarter format, team fouls reset to zero at the start of each quarter. If a team reaches the bonus in the fourth quarter, that team would remain in the bonus during any additional overtime periods. ----------- Teams are allowed to advance the ball to the frontcourt following a timeout immediately after a made basket in the last 59.9 seconds of the fourth quarter and any overtime periods. ----------- Defenders are allowed to place a forearm or an open hand with a bend in the elbow on an offensive post player with the ball whose back is to the basket. ----------- In an effort to improve the overall fan experience, bands or amplified music may be played during any dead-ball situation during a women’s basketball game. Previously, rules allowed music to be played only during timeouts and intermission. When you watch his work ethic on the court, being a beast in the weight room/dinner table should be no surprise. Add no twitter account to the mix (he doesn't have one), and this might be my favorite modern recruit ever.

I agree on the reporting aspect. We get more and quicker women's BB articles from the Omaha WH then from the home town Lincoln Journal. It would also be nice to see articles receive more front sports page priority then stuck on page 4 or 5. Maybe the success of this team will help that happen. Certainly fans clamoring for more can't hurt.

It looks like Ed Morrow has his arms around Jacobson and McVeigh like he's being assisted off the floor. OMG, ED MORROW MUST BE HURT!!! But we have no right to speculate. Damn. This is a dilemma. I'm going with turf toe. But it would be nice if his parents would at least tell us what's wrong with the poor dear. (Not saying they HAVE to. To be exact, it doesn't say that he put on 20 lbs overall, but put on 20 lbs of muscle while losing maybe 10 lbs of fat. I don't remember what he first checked in at but it was more like 218 than 208.

I might be misremembering, but I think you're wrong on this. I think Morrow tweeted last year that he was for sure 6'7" without shoes and still growing. I, for one, am not worried about Morrow's height. I think his arm length and motor more than make up for any neck shortness he might have. And Miles has sounded very confident in Morrow's ability to hold down the fort as a B1G power forward.
