We played The Citadel in December. Any win against an opponent we play certainly won't hurt.

Don't know how relative it is, but we did pick up a slight RPI boost. Now up to 46 on ESPN and 47 on Warren Nolan.

Well, when half of the RPI is your opponent's winning percentage and The Citadel just won their fifth game of the season, we'll take any little boost we can get.

-With games vs Mizzou, Arkansas, and LSU still on the ticket, Georgia has a chance to pull some double-whammys for us. They are your favorite SEC team from here on out.

The Vandy bubble has probably been popped, but a big win can sometimes get a team back on the map.  Some still say Clemson is on the bubble as well so I'll be pulling for Wake Forest.  

 

As for Dayton and St. Joe's.....I gotta think we want St. Joe's in this one.  A road win goes a long ways for Dayton who is playing well.  And Dayton still has games vs UMASS, @St. Louis and vs Richmond.  So they have some good chances at "quality" wins.  

 

St. Joe's still has games @St. Bonaventure, @G. Washington and home vs LaSalle.  Hoping they slip up in one of those road games, if not both.

I'm pulling for Minnesota to win tonight and lose to Michigan, I think that will keep them sub 50 and we have a real shot at jumping in to the 4th or 5th spot I. b1g if we win. Do you think the NCAA doesn't take the 4th best b1g team? It's fun rooting for these teams but the single most important thing is winning.

Yet we're 2-1 against them, and against the current top 5 teams we are 2-4 with 4 of the 6 on the road. So we have held our own when we have played the tough ones.

Right. I'm not trying to be the pessimist of the bunch, but finishing 4th doesn't mean we'll be viewed as the fourth best team. That said, I think if we finish fourth, a lot of very good things will have gone our way to that point.
