To paraphrase, he said he believes the schools truly interested have probably already talked to you, he's not going to try for any big time offers, that's not the goal for his summer, he just wants the right fit and a school where he can be successful.

Sounds like Nebraska to me.

I don't know how to read this situation. Generally speaking the kids with th close ties commit sooner than later. I don't get the feeling that will be the case with him. It's hard because we have limited spots for 2015 and we are in on some really good players.

We will make room for Morrow if we need to

Didn't see that this made it to the board yet so I'll post it. Seems like an unsolicited tweet from Coach Walt, Marrow's AAU coach, explaining or maybe validating his recruitment by Nebraska.

@CoachWalt_W: Did you know Ed Morrow is from Nebraska? @CoachMiles & Nebraska has been one of the 1st schools recruiting Ed since last yr. #Nebrasketball

Ed is going to blow up like Myles Turner did last year.  I know we have the family connections with Ed, but I think it's only a matter of time before the big-time programs come after him.

Is there any indication that Morrow has interest in Illinois?  Someone on here told me he's only interested in teams that have been recruiting him for a long time.

He has said he will consider all offers but will give all current offers more weight in his decision due to length of communication.

He said something close to 'all the schools that are truly interested have probably already contacted me' in regards to seeking bigger offers and teams that come calling this summer.

Will any of this affect the price of my beer?  That said, I hope the kid formed a nice bond with Miles and crew and that Illinois is late to the dance despite being closer to home play a role in his choice.

I really think Morrow ends up a Husker.  I don't think we should read too much into the fact he hasn't committed yet, either.  He's consistently said he's going to take his time.

I love where it says he has an incredible motor.  Sometimes it's less about the size of the dog in the fight and more about the size of the fight in the dog.  We need this kid to be a Husker.
