They didn't have anything posted about his Soph season yet, but he obviously didn't redshirt.

That gives him room to sign some big name guys.  I can see why he's cleaning house.  And my bet would be that it's not a coincidence that these guys are all of a sudden announcing plans to transfer.  My guess is that Groce helped 'em along with that decision.

If that is the case, then maybe he would allow them to transfer within the conference if he wants them gone bad enough.

Too bad Nebrasketball doesn't also have the luxury of "cleaning house" by washing out a four-star Rivals/ESPN recruit, ranked 59 on the Rivals 150 list (Mike Shaw), to make room for some "big name" players.

This guy stood out, no idea if were pursuing him. A 6-8 220 PF, that put up 10 and 7 a game and shot 70% from the field. Also will be available to play right away. Seems like a guy we should be after at this point in the game.

 

he also hasnt played in over a year now after having several surgeries to repair different things on his body.  He played last March for his last game after missing this last season for knee surgery followed by two wrist surgeries.
