With basketball season ending for many schools, the time for firing coaches has arrived.  Here is an opening-days list already from ESPN:

I agree... I would love for him to stay.  I think that another year or two under Miles and a year of maturity, and he could be a nice solid role player and someone who can handle the ball when others need a breather or are in foul trouble.  I do not want him to leave, but if he does transfer, and Doc gets that job, I could see him going there.

Benny, Petteway, and Shields have all gotten an apartment together for next year. i think he is committed to staying.

From what I know I think he wants to wait a year or two and raise his profile some, but I agree that he will be looking and could be a hot commodity if we start winning.

I didn't expect Carmody to get tossed this season. Most of what happened to that team was beyond his control, I think. He's a solid coach, he'll land somewhere. Maybe NW will finally spend something on their program.
