Bugeaters1 Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago That was a rough game, hope Berke is good to go tomorrow. Vinny 1 Quote
hskr4life Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago Ugly. Mucked up game. Took Bryce out of it with physical ply not being called. Favored by 6 metrics wise, won by 17. Never reallllly in doubt. Holiday hoops hangover. Looked sluggish both ways at times and it’s not surprising considering where we’re playing. Quote
NUtball Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago Apparently the Three Stooges were informed before tip-off that this was a football game or rugby match. These aggravated physical assault allowed type of games are not enjoyable to watch. I figured someone was going to get hurt - unfortunately, it was Berke with the non-contact injury. Quote

brfrad Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago 6 assists on 26 makes, not good. Defense was really good tonight. A lot of pushing and grabbing allowed by Murray State. Andrew and Connor came up huge. Won by 17 despite Brice scoring only 9 points. Quote

Huskerpapa Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago Brice did not get to the line, unbelievable! Way too many turnovers. Berke with an apparent ankle injury. We played about twenty minutes of good basketball. Good first half, especially on defense. 2nd half, below average, at best! Yet we won by 17. Handy Johnson 1 Quote
AuroranHusker Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago Andrew Morgan was huge. Connor Essegian was on fire, again. The refs were atrocious. That about sums it up. GBR HuskerBB, Handy Johnson, NUtball and 1 other 4 Quote

One of those “stats don’t tell the whole story” type of scenarios. There wasn’t a ton of hero ball. Some, but not enough to make me feel bad about our offense. When’s the last time we had that many post backdown buckets inside? It’s been a while. Combine all of those with our drives to the rack and the score being on the lower end, there weren’t going to be a ton of assists to be had. SkersHoops 1 Quote

basketballjones Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Easy win against a bad team. We got bored. At this point I’m going to need a written statement/explanation from Fred as to why Meah does any of the “perimeter stuff.” It’s coach malfeasance. B-town hoopsfan 1 Quote
B-town hoopsfan Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Really need worster to avoid early foul trouble tomorrow, he just makes the offense flow so much better especially when meah is in there. Quote

Yes, Brice, Juwan, and Rollie all need to stay out of foul trouble, tbh. Those 3 are keys for this team being successful this season. Steadying forces. HuskerBB 1 Quote

And that 1 time was a doozy against MSU. Nice to see NU take it to Murray St. with a defensive blitz instead of the other way around vs MSU. Quote
