Penn St. (12-13) vs. Nebraska (17-8) Game Thread

Recommended Posts

Daryl Hall and John Oates, commonly known as Hall & Oates, were an American pop rock duo formed in Philadelphia in 1970. Daryl Hall was generally the lead vocalist; John Oates primarily played the electric guitar and provided backing vocals. There are lots of bands from Pennsylvania. Sorry Cip been busy today, but you go.

Watched their game against Michigan State last night. They play an ugly brand of basketball and will yell/whine at the officials after every call that doesn’t go their way. Similar to Rutgers. Glad we don’t play them at their place this year.

Like the Ioa womens team.

Hopefully Tominaga can have a big game tomorrow.

I wouldn't be shocked if he is flirting with another 30 point game.

This Penn State team both staff and players (except a few) have never gone against Keisei.

It will be really interesting to see how PSU tries to guard Tominaga.

I wouldn't count on that as Mike Rhodes focuses more of taking away the 3 than Micah Shrewsberry did

Good point.
The Lions 3pt defense has been pretty good this year.

Hopefully he gets a lot of backdoors and easy two's.

Penn State at 11 am isn't a great start time against a opponent that doesn't have basketball tradition that people can get up for....brings back memories of us losing an early Sunday morning game to Northwestern.  That week of rest will help though.

Saturday is a much different animal than Sunday.  People are ready to party on a Saturday.  Weather is decent tomorrow.  I foresee an energetic crowd.  The team shouldn't need it at this stage of the season, though.  Just get the "W" and we're one step closer to dancing!

Haven't really done this before but hoping to get there near to when the gates open and get one of my boys a few autographs and pictures.

We've had luck going down to the corner where the players stretch with the elastic bands and do weight work.  My boys got a half dozen autographs and pictures a few years ago.  Good memories.

I mean the template has been shown. Foul the hell out of him until the refs call it...which most of the time they don't 😕
