Pat Kelsey might turn out to be a good hire for Louisville. In the same way that literally hiring anyone might be a good hire for Louisville.

They have really fallen far. Their fans can't be happy that the best they could do, on paper, is a guy whose biggest coaching gig to date is head coach of a CAA team.

They didn't hire the JACKWAGON.... so, yeah, net positive.

The only thing that is slightly disappointing to me about this (other than not getting the memes that would be so richly deserved with Richard at Louisville) is we'll miss an opportunity to see UNM kick the tires on Tim Miles again.  I do honestly believe he could be pretty successful at a high level Mountain West school.

McCaffrey just jumped Dr. Tom Davis at Iowa in total wins. He'd have to kicked to the curb to leave there.....

Hummmmm, wonder why the son would be leaving his pops????

Y'all are slipping if I'm the first one to put this news in here:

...so two of the Big Ten newbies are going to be coming in with new coaches.

Be a shame if they hired Buzz and A & M had to start a coaching search. I heard they just hired a new AD.

11 seasons, 5 tournaments, 3 first round exits, 1 second round exit, 1 regional final; went to USC after a tournament run at Florida Gulf Coast.

The most similar hire this year was Dusty May to Michigan.

Would this be a big loss if Nebraska did lose him?

Yes!

Sorry, that was kinda rude...in my humble opinion, yes.

So it's not just the players; apparently even the assistants hate Greg Gard and are jumping off the Wisconsin ship:

Actually it sounds like it wasn't Oliver's choice.

Fine.  But let me have this narrative that Gard is captaining a sinking ship, okay?  😁
