28 assists on 32 baskets for them. Huskers 13 on 28. Missed bunnies to affect that but like mentioned earlier shooting deep 3s early and early in shot clock gave them momentum.

Absolutely shit shot selection from the very start of the game. JLaw and Gary took our first 5 3’s and you could argue the game was lost right there.

Fred got outcoached when Fran went to zone. FH had no answer and, as usual, is unwilling to coach shot selection and define roles.

I couldn't agree more. You want guys to play and shoot confidently but shooting quick 3s when you are not named KT or even CJ played right into Iowa's hands from the beginning. And yes, how long does it take you to adjust to a zone? It shouldn't be that hard. But the guys do look tired and Iowa looks fresh and is hitting way more 3s than normal.

Iowa has put us into horrible matchups.  Freeman looks like an all-American.

And all he had to was stand under the basket and wait for the D to breakdown.  How many dunks did he have? 6? 7?

If our shots aren't falling, we're in trouble.

I mean… that’s basically all teams… but yeahhh. You’d think that wouldn’t be the case for a team that prides itself on D… but we fricking left our D in Lincoln.

My point being that with ball and player movement Freeman wound up with a small trying to stop him on many of those dunks.

When you only play for 15-20 minutes out of 40, it's not going to be pretty.  Also see Minnesota.

Sucks the wrestling team also got their asses handed to them by these pricks tonight.

Well we need to get back safely and start back in the gym and working hard.  Sometimes bad things happen to good people.

also see how this team feeds off of our home crowd.  Except for laying the egg against Creighton we have looked good at home.  On the road not so much.

also this year can kind of tell how the game is going to go in like the first 4 minutes.

IF my math is right we were 26 of 37 from inside the arc tonight and that includes the 3-4 missed layups late.  That is 70%. Had we had a pulse from behind the arc and defend a bit.  We got outscored by 33 behind the arc.

And still kept shooting 3s.
