Didn't hurt his shooting percentage tonight after that 1-10 performance the prior outing. All in all, that's improvement. And he seemed to be supportive of his teammates. I saw progress. Quote

thrasher31 Posted February 9, 2021 Report Posted February 9, 2021 I missed the game and most of the coverage. From just what I'm piecing together, grades related is my initial guess? Regardless, if he was on the bench supporting his teammates in a positive fashion that's a great sign. Quote
Jacob Padilla Posted February 9, 2021 Report Posted February 9, 2021 Well, I think it's safe to say that Teddy isn't exclusively the reason for the lack of ball movement and offensive struggles. Wasn't any better or more consistent without him; the other guys just aren't as good as he is at scoring in a bad situation. Vinny, LNKtrnsplnt, NUtball and 3 others 6 Quote
NeeandMe Posted February 9, 2021 Report Posted February 9, 2021 It wasn't grades and I would not be surprised if this is much more than just a "sit-a-game" slap on the wrist. He hasn't matured near as much as we were led to believe this fall. Quote
hhcmatt Posted February 10, 2021 Report Posted February 10, 2021 No presser today = find out tonight if Teddy is playing Quote

REDitus Posted March 1, 2021 Report Posted March 1, 2021 It was a gamble when we took him, I liked the talent, high risk & high reward. Unfortunately it didn't work out. Silverbacked1 1 Quote

KarlHessEatMy.... Posted March 1, 2021 Report Posted March 1, 2021 I just dont see him working on any P5 conference team unless they want their team to be revolved around 1 player. I think thats the only way he will work on a team is if that team plays for him which is why i think he will go to a mid-level D1 school. If this has been causing the team chemistry problems then I am glad he is stepping away but there is litterally like 3 or 4 games left. Not sure why not finish it out. Quote
thrasher31 Posted March 1, 2021 Report Posted March 1, 2021 If he's graduating in the fall, he's not staying in school. He will likely go play pro ball overseas somewhere. I think this was always in the cards REDitus and NUtball 2 Quote

49r Posted March 1, 2021 Report Posted March 1, 2021 I just hope that he really will be able to finish his degree. Regardless what happens with his basketball career, having that piece of paper will make a massive difference in his life. Wish for nothing but the best for Teddy.
