Huskers to Play in Golden Window Classic **Update**

Southern Miss, Doc's old team, was the other team along with North Dakota St that was supposed to play at Milwaukee to start the season. Milwaukee canceled due to Covid which was how NDSU became available.

Yeah, I've gotten to the point that I don't even care who the opponents are anymore. I just want this new group of players to have as many games as possible playing together before their games with Georgia Tech, Creighton, and their Big Ten schedule.

I'm hoping that the Thursday game starts at 1pm or later so my family won't have to eat Thanksgiving without me

So it looks like Minnesota has the 11 am slot for BTN on Saturday.  They are supposed to play Loyola Marymount but they don't even have the game on their schedule yet as they're also scrambling.

 

If they play that game at 11, I would assume they get the BTN slot and we go to BTN+

If they don't play at 11, we get BTN.

By the time Wednesday rolls around we will be playing Duke, Slippery Rock and Butane Cookman instead the way things are changing so quickly.

Tennessee just cancelled their event, so a couple of teams like VCU and Charlotte suddenly have openings on their schedules.

TBD has historically been a weak opponent. Ken Pomeroy doesn't even keep track of their stats.

Three team round-robin works. Less complicated that way. And both teams are in town already? Nevada is for sure.

I read they may still add other teams but the Nebraska, Nevada, & NDS schedules are locked in regardless.
