This is from the Journal Star:

Arop was really good in the Adidas Gauntlet event this summer in New York City, averaging 20 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Omaha Sports Academy 17U team in three games. He shot nearly 68 percent from the field, and 60 percent from three-point range.

No whether or not Mr. Moosie does that or not.

January 26, 2019:  Prep vs. Northstar at Northstar.   Williams and Arop.   Who's with me?

Could be a double header as the Huskers have a game that day. Maybe we could even get the team to join us. They play 2 days after that but it's a home game???

Did I read somewhere that Akol was shooting over 40% from 3-point range?

That was his brother's shortcoming, but sounds like these guys are very different players.  Similar measurables in terms of size and athleticism, but based on the video linked above, Akol is maybe more of a perimeter player.

Hopefully he has good handles and can attack the rim.  Love the length and athleticism on the perimeter.

This is from the Lincoln Journal Star (don't know how many three-point shots he took--maybe it was only 3 of 5?):

Good to hear this.  He has played mostly inside during his high school career because he was Prep's best post player and they have had a ton of good shooters the last couple years.

Any scouting report on his handles?  He played (sort of) the five for Prep last year...right?  I am just wondering if he can handle the ball as it appears he is a three or perhaps a small four at the next level.

Two words: Ade Dagunduro.
