Hamilton gets huffy, obfuscates, "what do you mean?" "when?" and then, finally, this gem, "the game was over", he says, patronizingly. I think the reporter, along with everyone else, was stunned that he was employed. Quote

HuskerFever Posted March 25, 2018 Author Report Posted March 25, 2018 Wasn't the SEC supposed to be this almighty conference this year? Objectively, yes, I can concede on the ACC and Big 12. And the top 2-3 from the Big East. I could also have told you not to put any Pac-12 teams far into the tournament. But it seems like the pundits swapped SEC perceptions with the Big Ten. The SEC had only 2 of 8 teams win 2 games in the tournament and by the Elite Eight, SEC had 0 of 8 teams remaining. The Big Ten had half as many teams as the SEC and had far better results. Even if you added 4 more Big Ten teams who lost their first round game, the Big Ten would have performed better than the SEC. I'm at a loss. Tournament performance-wise, I would probably rank the conferences as: 1. Big 12 2. ACC 3. Big Ten 4. Big East 5. SEC 6. Pac-12 Quote
