^^^ tweet loaded weird, he was asked, which team has the best chance at a bubble run late.

^^^ the idiot was asked, what does Nebraska have to do to get into the tournament.

so by his answer and our schedule. We’re in.

Well the good news is we won't be playing any more last-place teams so take THAT, Lunardi!!

I've definitely heard more Nebraska fans complaining about the media bashing the Big Ten than I've actually heard the media bashing the Big Ten. They're calling us the 5th best conference, and they're saying we're probably only going to get four teams in. Is that really overblowing it? Are there really more than four teams deserving of a bid right now? Yeah, you can argue that Nebraska and Penn State are playing tournament-quality ball. But everything considered, they are definitely bubble teams and IMO deserve to be on the outside looking in right now.

Okay, I guess that argument has some basis. For sure we don't have nearly as many "Locks" as usual this time of year.

Not on the list but 18-10 Missouri lost to dreadful Mississippi at home.  This is the same Missouri team that lost to Illinois on a neutral court early in the year.  Two horrible losses with hopefully more on the horizon for them.

That means Luinardi will have them as a 10 seed tomorrow.

Illinois 179/Michigan State  15- 6pm ESPN  Michigan St. - 16   Need Illinois
Rutgers 208/Ohio State  20 - 6pm BTN  Ohio St. - 14 1/2  Need Rutgers due to playing twice for the metrics.  This is an educated guess that one seed not in play

West Virginia  33/Baylor  47-   6pm ESPN 2  Need West Virginia
Mississippi State 71/Texas A&M  21- 6pm SEC Network  Texas AM - 6 1/2  Due to AM being solidly in for some reason, we need them to win I guess
Boston College 94/NC State  61-  6pm ESPN Full Court/ESPN 3   NC St -5 Need Boston College badly
Creighton 39/Butler   36- 6pm FS1  Butler -6 Need Creighton

The Citadel  295/East Tennessee State  63 -  6pm ESPN3  E. Tenn St -18  Need The Citadel
Buffalo 29/Miami (OH)  163- 6pm ESPN3  Buffalo -6 Need Miami(OH)
Ole Miss  122/Missouri  24 - 8pm ESPN2  Missouri - 7 1/2  Need Ole Miss
Kentucky 18/Arkansas 26 - 8pm ESPN Arkansas - 5 1/2  Lean Kentucky as I could more easily see Arkansas losing games down the stretch

Vanderbilt  104/LSU  75 - 8pm SEC Network  LSU -4.5 Need Vandy
New Mexico  185/Wyoming  84 - 8pm AT&T sportsnetwork Wyoming - 4 1/2  Need New Mexico

How is Buffalo still in the top 40 RPI. 19-8 (12-3). They have 0 "tier one" wins, 1 "tier two" wins, and 3 "tier three" losses.

For comparison we are........................21-9 (12-5)....................1 "tier one" wins, 3 "tier two" wins, and 1 "tier three" losses

So torn on MICH/PSU. PSU wins and that’s guaranteed fourth place, which is so essential. But they could jump into fifth and that would be hell to play them again. Yikes.

That's the million dollar question. They've done a really good job at scheduling teams that aren't too good, but also scheduling teams that aren't too bad. We've got a little bit of both. I honestly believe that if we can get a little more stable roster, Miles will more than exploit a schedule for us that gets us a favorable RPI that requires only 17-18 wins in a season to get a "First Four Bye" or better at-large bid for us.

IM rooting for Mich.   IMO....I dont think it matters where we finish in the standings.   We need another quality win and getting MIchigan in that 4/5 game would do that.

They dont have a ton of bad wins....like we do.   A big fault of the RPI.

That being said...Im not worried about Buffalo.   They have a higher RPI...but they arent getting an at large bid over us.   Im more upset about St Bonaventure and USC

Definitely. Nearly all these games in the final two weeks will be grey areas. For this particular one, I'm leaning toward the "if we don't beat Penn State, we have much more work than one win in the Big Ten tournament" crew, so Michigan competing for #4/#5 is not an issue for me. Beat Penn State and beat Michigan and we're in.

And soon to be 16-14 #5 seed Oklahoma

Yeah I know. I guess I'm just frustrated that the NCAA uses a system where wins against Buffalo, Loyola-Chicago, and Louisiana- Lafayette, are much more valuable than wins against Penn State, Indiana and Boston College.
