Wonder if they can get him to a Husker game this year. I'm guessing if they do it will be a football game, however if they can get him away for one day...I'd love to see him at the Creighton game.

nba champion as a coach and player.

wonderful accomplishment.  not much more else to say.  guy's 38 or so and already has 3 nba titles to his name.  he could not get another one and still have had a heck of a ride.

Cheered for the Warriors.  But now i feel dirty for watching at all.  I vow to never watch another NBA game in my life.  Just a grotesque perversion of the game of basketball.

...and the reason I do not watch much if any NBA basketball.  That said, great for Ty (Head Coach of the NBA champion likely looks good on a resume) and good for Cleveland.  They needed a championship...any championship.

It was rough offensively with both teams struggling to hit shots but that was a heck of a game 7!  Rule changes and teams like Golden State have been great for the game the last couple of years.

Yes, but I'm sure he would say all of those accomplishments pale when comparing to that NIT championship we grabbed in '96.

Glad the Cavs won. Gotta be excited for a man who came back to his hometown to win em a championship.

Not exactly his hometown, but I suppose it's close enough.  He sure seems to be treating it as such.

I was glad they won.
