No disrespect, but I would take a guy like this 100 times over a guy like Evelyn or Tarin Smith.

Why?

 

He looks like he can actually handle the ball and score baskets.

 

Tarin Smith did not have the freshman season Watson did, but he showed he could play at the Big10 level, We'll  see on Evelyn.

Smith transferred to a step below Big Ten.  Evelyn does not pass the eye test so far.  Neither are quality shooters.  We lack quality shooters.  This guy has a nice looking stroke.

Showalter started out as a walk on. Showalter is a pretty inconsistent shooter, at least more so than you'd expect.

Yeah I ended looking him up and was listed as a 2 or 3 star. I figured if he was a 4 there would have been a lot more excitement on his page.
