Not your typical JUCO, so shouldn't have too much trouble making the leap up in class either.  His numbers at WVU weren't anything to scoff at.

I wanted him back then and I do even more now with Fred here.

He is a legit pro talent if he keeps his head in it.

This is a pretty huge pickup. This kid has an incredible ability to put the balm in the hoop. 
 

This team is going to be pretty fun to watch next year.

This seems significant.....expectations for next season just went up a notch.

Also, perusing the scholarship matrix, man we're gonna be an old team next year and REALLY old the year after (assuming everyone sticks around).  I love that!

I just have an underlying sense of "this is all gonna end in tears" on this one though.  But I could be wrong.  I often am.

74 percent from the line at West Virginia, 90 percent at WNCC.

This is awesome.  He looks serious this time.  Lost a ton of that baby fat he was carrying around.   He is shooting 90 percent from the line on about ten attempts per game and 42 percent from three on a lot of attempts.  32 a game in a fairly efficient manner.  boom!

Stockpiling “High End” talent... this is starting to look formidable a lot quicker than I envisioned...

Hate to jump ahead, but looking at next years roster (as it currently stands) got me saying OH BOYYYY!

The guys are gonna have to earn their minutes! Especially with Fred's seven to eight player rotations.

In keeping with the comments above: where do the minutes go next year given Hoiberg's proclivity to play eight men rotations? Side note: does he tend to play eight man rotations because having quality depth is rare, or is it more a philosophy?

Would like to hear from the sages on this board what the line-ups might look like next year drawing from the current twelve scholarship players scheduled to return.

Over his five or six years at Iowa State he played eight man rotations with the exception of one or two years where it looks like he played only seven regularly. I cant speak on to how depth/injuries played in to that. However, it is worth noting that he likes to have two or three guys sitting out per year.

I think an eight man rotation is a safe bet going forward.

My best guess at the rotation players.  Locks Blanton, Allen, Mack, Burke.   highly likely Stevenson Walker   Not so confident.  Green Cross Yvan.    There is likely to be some sort of turnover creating some time for Thor.

Since 2013 I’ve kept a running excel spreadsheet of future “depth charts” (strange, I know) and usually have a pretty good idea of what the rotation will look like. This roster might be the toughest one to figure out yet. Of course, there may be attrition before next season. 
 

Glad to have Teddy on board. Im assuming the last scholarship goes to a sit out guy.
