Okie St doesn't have a lot of experience in the front court and thus you'll see them roll with a small ball lineup anchored by McGriff
- Starting Fr PG Likekele doesn't really shoot 3s. The big PG will actually try to post up smaller defenders in the paint if possible
- Miami of Ohio transfer Michael Weathers is the other PG and is a much more aggressive scorer than Likekele. He's also more turnover prone
- Thomas Dziagwa is a statue 3pt shooter hitting 53.4% on the year
- Lindy Waters is a glue guy hitting 39% from 3. He's personally bringing up the FT% of this poor shooting team going 29-30 from the line
- Freshman center Yor Anei is a block machine and efficient scorer when
- Grad transfer Mike Cunningham has been a proficient 3pt shooter like everyone else
- 6'9" Fr Maurice Calloo and 6'8" Duncan Demuth have provided back court depth but both have been pretty poor offensively
- Indiana transfer Curtis Jones will be eligible but it remains to be seen how much he'll play to begin with on a team with plenty of guard options. The 6'4" Jones was a consensus 4 star coming out of high school but was inconsistent during his time at Indiana.

The Skinny: Oklahoma St like Nebraska missed out on the NCAA tournament despite beating Kansas twice because they scheduled soft in their non-con. This year with mostly a new roster the Cowboys have overcompensated and now are sitting at 5 loses. Mike Boynton followed Brad Underwood here from South Carolina and Stephen F Austin and the 36 year old coach runs a lot of the pressure defense that one might expect from someone from the Martin/Huggins tree.
Oklahoma St is a proficient 3pt shooting team that is mediocre most elsewhere so they don't pull a lot of 2nd chance points and turn the ball over which should generate easy points for the Huskers. Good defenses like Villanova, Houston, and Minnesota have kept this team in check. A team like Nebraska that specializes in taking away the 3 should do well. This team isn't quite as aggressive at Illinois and has a lot better rim protection. The Cowboys will dare you to beat them from the outside and we'll see if Nebraska can roll out another good shooting night. There will be 2nd chance points available against this poor rebounding Cowboy squad.
How sick is the team? That might matter. We're favored by 6 by KenPom in a neutral court game. This will be a home crowd for the Huskers.
Prediction: Nebraska 80 - Oklahoma St 68
