HuskerFever Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 0-6 on the road in conference play. Inexcusable. Quote
extremehoops Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 3 for 16 shooting 3's I see Purdue tries new guys freshman and sophomores to shoot 3s and it works Whats wrong with putting Fuller out there to see if he can drop some threes. The Coaching staff says Fuller can shoot, He is crafty around the hoop and he can rebound. Why can't he play 8-10 minutes? This rotation isnt working and we are dead on the ability to rebound. Your 6'10 player has gotten less than 5 rebounds the last 5-6 games Quote
RailyardBum Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Gave up 40 in the second hald...and outside of full court press what did we try to do differently? I understand Molonari would probably cry a river if we went zone but would it hurt to atleast try? Purdue was getting whatever they wanted down the court. We couldn't rebound when we played man. They would have gotten twice as many offensive boards if we were in a zone. Silverbacked1 1 Quote

There's no doubt Tarin smith is better than benny, and I don't see how fuller could be worse than rivers. doc1394 1 Quote

GATA Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Purdue is us last year. Good call. Quote
brfrad Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 It's one thing to get killed on the boards to Michigan State, it's another to get killed to Purdue. Quote
Wayne Pesek Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Michigan St is first in the conference in rebounding. Purdue is tied for third. Huskers are 13th. No surprises today. RailyardBum 1 Quote

jimmykc Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Not sure I should have waded through this. It didn't exactly jump start my day. However, the photo of the Boilermaker's mascot and coach sort of helped. I always thought the same sort of photo would have worked with Oklahoma State when Eddie Sutton coached the Cowboys. Quote
hhcmatt Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 I see Purdue tries new guys freshman and sophomores to shoot 3s and it works The three guys who made 3s for Purdue are the three guys who have put up the most 3pt attempts this year for Purdue. You very well may be right about us needing to change our rotation but your comparison to Purdue in that regards doesn't make sense because their young 3pt shooters have been doing that all season. colhusker Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 air ball, go get your air ball, nobody touches the ball, isn't that a travel? Finally remember to ask co-worker who officiates about this. The ruling of no travel was correct. He said that as long as it is deemed a legitimate shot attempt, even if it is an airball, the same guy can catch it. Not sure if that rule changed, he said for the 10 years of so he has been officiating this is how it has been called. Quote
