So far there is twitter confirmation that Nathan Hawkins signed a LOI for someone. Doesn't say Nebraska for sure, just that he signed. I assume its for us. That's 1 out of 3 that we know about anyway.

Per Akoy's twitter last night he stated he can't wait to be a Card. Unless he "shocks the world" it appears he will be signing the dotted line for Louisville today.

I think he can only do it "today" since it matters where he is signing and not where he is from. So Im assuming once he gets up and goes to school he will hopefully be signing that LOI.

Hope it all goes well for him. Hate to see him leave the state but wish him well. I like the 6 new players Miles has lined up for next year and think we will be much more competitive immediately in 2013.

Update on Tai Webster: He's still finishing classes in New Zealand and has gotten qualifying SAT score. He's fully expected to make it to NU

Maybe he will come over here and sign on his visit.

It sounds like Miles is expecting to get Webster's paper work in by the end of fall period(11/21) because it is more complicated for international players.

I thought Tai was supposed to graduate something like Nov 6. That was a week ago. Why would he still be in class? Unless I'm off on the dates when he's supposed to get done with school. Maybe it's the 16th. But, either way, I thought he was supposed to be in for a visit soon.

My experience with this kind of conversation is the person Tai is speaking with won't even know where Nebraska is. When I was in England I had to resort to telling people I was from Chicago so they would stop asking "Where is Nebraska?"

Oh I know. When I have been over seas, they know you aren't local. But when you tell them "I'm from Nebraska"

You mostly get a blank stare, so I say the States.

Had a British soccer stay with us once. His parents where going to come and visit him. They were going to land in New York and rent a car and drive out here to see him. They only had a week to see him. He kept telling them it was at least a 2 day drive just to get here, but they wanted to see America. They had no idea just how big our country is. Never did hear how they did.
