Trying to lock up a 10 seed?

Also, is Indiana more or less dangerous next Wednesday if they can knock off Ohio St?

They are really going backwards. I think Indiana will be tough no matter what they do prior to playing us.

I'm not sure if Minnesota winning was good for us or not.....but a bunch of other bubble teams have lost tonight - Clemson, Dayton, and St. John's - and looks like Mizzou is about to go down as well.

Can't see Gophers winning @ Michigan Sat., but as someone pointed out earlier, this s**t is about to get REAL.

Win or lose on Sunday, I just really hope we can be the 4 or 5 and be matched up with Iowa in the potential quarterfinals. We owe them and they will be stunned at how different a team we are.

Just turned it on too - now MSU 86 - Iowa 68 w/ about one min left... and, of course, Iowa scored 8 in the final minute to close it to 86-76. Still a big, fat L for Iowa, losers now of 4 out of their last 5 games.

How 'bout McBaby givin' the pile driver to Trice. Let's all behold the train wreck that's taking place in Iowa City.            

 

It blows my mind that he wasn't ejected.  Dude should be suspended through the B1G tournament.

Agree.  It wasn't as much the arm wrestling that I had issue with as much as kicking his leg back and body slamming Trice.  Totally uncalled for.

 

At the minimum he should be reprimanded by the league.

Iowa fans were claiming Trice was the one holding on. I can't find a replay, but I didn't see it that way.  The douche appeared to lock his arm in, pull him down and put out his leg to ensure Trice would land hard.  Looked like a WWE move.

He swept the leg. Trice should have had the crane defense ready.

A more important question is the couch ready for Sunday?

Iowa is no lock for tourney....

Needs at least Thursday win...maybe more

 

They shouldn't be a lock, but they are a 7 seed on BracketMatrix, a 6 seed on ESPN, a 7 seed on CBS. They won't drop all the way out with this loss and even one to Penn State or Northwestern.
