So who do we want in Indiana vs. Wiscy?  Indiana for RPI reasons, or Wisconsin for the potential signature win?

I would think Wisconsin... but then again like you stated Indiana (if we beat them twice) would have a better RPI boost.  I am just going to say Wisconsin, the higher they are ranked the better.

Minnesota won - NOT good, because I think the B1G gets 6, not 7.

Completely agree...

Disagree - Number of teams in the conference making the dance is overrated and we can use all the sub-50 RPI wins we can get

Georgia winning would sure help us out A TON. Killing two birds with one stone.

St John's and Dayton lost - GOOD.

Teams get bids, not conferences. C'mon Dave I know you know that.

I know this is no official rule, obviously. I have serious doubts the Big 10 gets seven teams, though. It DOES matter how many come out of each conference. Maybe not the #1 or #2 factor, but its definitely factored in. I just don't see how Minnesota winning does us much good. If we get to 10-8 or 11-7, with 1-2 wins in the Big 10 Tournament, it doesn't matter if we have one less "impressive" win if they dip a few spots. That game isn't super impressive either way. I'd rather have them as a ZERO THREAT to make the tournament and take our chances with one less Big 10 and one less bubble foe.

Since Missouri is down 14 to Georgia late, let's recap Missouri's resume assuming they lose this:

19-9, 7-8 SEC

RPI: 45 (will drop)

SOS: 62

Non-Con SOS: 117

vs. Top 50: 1-2 (W UCLA (15))

vs. Top 100: 8-8

vs. 100+: 11-1 (L at Alabama (117))

No way is that an NCAA resume.
