Key stats:  19 Assists on 25 shots.  That's what we need.  Also only 11 turnovers against an aggressive defense.

Another area for Tai to improve on, late game free throw shooting.  Hopefully, the last 2 misses don't make him go into a funk again.  Had made 10 in a row prior to the last 2 misses.

Good win with the slide traction of Biggs today. Little tense at end. Anyone hear what tim said after about Biggs?

I don't think Miles said any thing about Biggs.

He did say he's looking forward to his radio show tomorrow.

I just wonder who will start the thread about how many tourney wins or how big Thursdays game is etc.

Again with this team I encourage everyone to enjoy going to home games, pray for a miracle on road games but each night lets see improvement.

We saw some improvement tonight still scared about finishing games but at least this team found a way. This is a good minnesota team who shot lights out and we still won.

Saving this spot for approx 5:19 p.m. CST when I can comment on the amazing 20-3 run the huskers opened the game with.

I just choked on my cookies & milk thank you.

FWIW It was 10-3 at 5:09.  I was off 10 each way.

Shavon needs to get his groove back.  He's turning down shots that he just plain needs to take.  We got a shot clock violation last night because Shavon passed up an open shot and kicked it to someone else.  Shavon, you can't do that, partner.  Now, later in the first half (last shot of the half) he knocked down an open 3 because he had to and he hit it.  (Yay, Shavon!!!)  And when Petteway went out with his 4th foul, Shavon got a little more assertive.

But if we need him to be a little bit clutch when Terran leaves the game, he's got to learn to take the open shots when he has them and just trust that he's good enough of a shooter to make his fair share even though he might miss a few (including the next one he takes.)

If Shavon gets his groove back, he and Petteway could be a very solid one-two punch on the offensive end.
