This one feels good. Tim would have had a hard time picking them up after another tough loss. Good for the team. Rivers is not an all star but did some nice things tonight

I don't have any problem with storming the court.  It'd be nice to be a program that wouldn't storm for this kind of game, but we're not there.  Let's celebrate when we can.

I guess that's the point I was trying to make.  Believe me, I'm elated with the win and was thrilled to see Webster be a little assertive on offense.  Thought Rivers played well but Biggs is still driving me crazy!

1. I don't mind the storming the court  but I hate to give OSU the satisfaction that beating them is something special. 

2. Pettaway was the worst player on the floor for the first half and he came out and hit 2 of his going right, high off the glass runners in crunch time. I respect anyone that played that bad to not be afraid of  failure and come out and want the ball in pressure situations. I've seen far better players wilt in those situations.

He seems to be more of a second-half guy.  That said, you're right in that he had quite a turnaround tonight!

I wish we stormed the court.... but being in the 200 section....that's a loooong drop. To rush the court. The students had the energy. They can storm the court as much as they want for all I care. Every team storms the court one time or another.

big win for the kids. I don't care about much else other than that. these guys needed something good to happen and they finally got it. big boost for our most winnable road game coming up.

Dude, you see Wragge's 9-14 and go wow. If you were watching our game -- which you should have not been -- you would have him go 7-for-f'ing-7 in the first 8 minutes and 15 seconds of the game. It was stupid. Larry Bird shook his head. Watching both games at the same time was a hoot.

There wasn't a person on earth watching that who wasn't shaking his head.

I just caught bits and pieces of your game and then the very end. Looks like your boys figured out how to close and had some swagger about it as well. Lots to be excited about down in Lincoln. Congrats again, what a great night for everyone.

1-6 against OSU since we entered the B1G... You know which of these games was the sweetest? The one where we beat Craft before he graduated.

 

That is pretty awesome.  Craft is the peskiest defender I've seen in awhile.  Can't stand the guy but he is a heck of a defensive player.

That is pretty awesome.  Craft is the peskiest defender I've seen in awhile.  Can't stand the guy but he is a heck of a defensive player.  

 

Craft plays very good defense, gets a reputation as a great defensive player, officials start give him the shadow of the doubt on most calls, Craft realizes this and starts being more physical (code for getting away with fouling people without being called for fouls on many occasions), with this "he can do no wrong" attitude officials now have towards him Craft becomes a great defensive player. Don't let Craft be a great defensive players, insist refs call fouls on him as you watch on your Direct TV.

Mose -- I'm in Omaha for work and have a flight out tomorrow so I am downtown at the Hampton. I went to DJs for dinner and watched the first half of both games. Wragge shoots from places that no one else in the worlds shoots from. This will be both great (tonight) and awful I suppose because there will be off nights. I know we are supposed to hate Creighton over here, but they play a wonderful brand of hoops and I wish we could learn to space the floor like they do.

This is the 4th time that both teams have faced ranked teams and the only time they've both run.

FWIW, I didn't start disliking Creighton basketball until I started moderating this place and got to deal with their "best fans"

I see what you did there.  I would take Craft in a heartbeat.
