GATA Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Good. It's gonna take that kind of GATA to keep him away from blue bloods once they come calling. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Sounds like if he doesn't come here it isn't because we didn't try our hardest. bobcat402 1 Quote

OurDecay Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Whatever Morrow's timeline is for making a decision, I'd selfishly like him to go ahead and accelerate it. I have to believe that our coaches believe the same thing that we all here have been saying - he's a guy that you want to get committed early, to draw other players with him. I assume by us bringing our entire staff there that we are trying to push him to pull that trigger ASAP. If he was leaning towards NU, you wouldn't think he'd want to wait until the fall to take official visits before deciding, right? Quote
OurDecay Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Just looked...his last two games at this event, Morrow has only played 14 minutes and 12 minutes and has seemed to barely shoot the ball. Other players on his team playing a bunch more. Wonder if he's worn out from the James Skills Academy or something. His first 15 games on this team he averaged 26 minutes/game. As this event he's gone 19 minutes, 14 minutes, and 12 minutes progressively. Seems odd. Quote
The Coach Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Richard Pitino has also been courtside at all of his games. God I hope he doesn't pick the Gophers. I could understand choosing a program like Duke or Kansas. But watching him play for the Gophers in their crappy old barn would be frustrating. Especially considering both of his parents were Huskers. Quote

bobcat402 Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 i dont want him to accelerate the process, i want him to see all the offers, and than weigh whats important, schools that felt good about me almost 2-3 years ago, or the bigger schools who were lazy and waited til later on to come at me. huskerbaseball13 Posted July 21, 2014 Report Posted July 21, 2014 Was reading some different Big Ten boards and a MOD on the Hawkeye board spoke with Morrow at the peach jam. It sounds like Morrow will be visiting Iowa City in August. I'm not sure if Morrow will be deciding any time soon. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted July 21, 2014 Report Posted July 21, 2014 I don't see him saying anything until November, that is the early signing period right? Quote
Huskerpapa Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Why wouldn't they be...we are also going to be the school that signs him. Quote

ajb5856 Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Well there you have it. Iowa and Nebraska are pretty high on his list. Prepare for complete board meltdown if he chooses to wear black and gold instead of coming here. Silverbacked1 1 Quote

TheKamdyMan Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Yeah not a fan that they moved this from Portland to DC and now Chicago. This was easily my favorite event to attend each year. If anyone is near Chicago and wants to see some amazing basketball they need to go to this event. Doesnt hurt Morrow that he doesnt have to leave home really to do this. Quote
