basketballjones Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 I count 17 pairs of shoes... 16 players listed on the roster (including outgoing seniors). Which one are Sai's?!?!!? Quote
bobcat402 Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 i dont think legally and recruting wise...sai can be at miles house....thats how pearl got caught wasnt it...bbq for recruits...wasnt there a blue moutain state episode about that.. Quote
imnothipp Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 Pretty sure it is legal. I believe Pearls issue was the timing of it. Quote
bobcat402 Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 what do you mean timing? if sai is at the house of a coach eating food, or anything not paid for by himself its a recruting violation...and i thinking the wingtips are either miles, or another assistant coach. Quote
cipsucks Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 I wonder if Danny ever took pictures of players' shoes in his house..... Norm Peterson, atskooc and 49r 3 Quote

Not true. Recruits dine at coaches' homes on a very large percentage of recruiting visits. Go do some searches for summaries of recruits' trips to Mack Brown's ranch or Nick Saban's, where they go four-wheeling on his property. Rules governing these things are very different on official visits than they are at other times. That's the whole point of the official visit -- the school is bringing you in on their dime, which includes feeding you, putting you up in a hotel, etc. -- all at the school's expense. This simply falls under that same umbrella. Also, for those counting shoes, I know Harriman was there last night, and Craig Smith probably was too, and possibly the coaches' families too. I'm sure Sai was there as well. Quote

I think on the official visit, they can buy your food and pay for your room, etc. Unofficials are different. Quote

Yeah, recruits on officials absolutely get all that paid for. Quote
imnothipp Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 It was in the summertime and they were not on official visits. Quote
