It sucks man. Felt like we were 1 good WR away from pribably winning a few of those games in football and just feel like we're 1 player away with this team from being really really good.

I love Brice, he showed tonight why he's FIRST TEAM all-Big Ten. I'm wrecked that somehow 8-on-5 beat us tonight, and I hate this conference as we'll always be Jr. Members of this League. They couldn't allow lowly NU to win in CBus. It would've been a riot if they'd have officiated this game properly. I'm gutted, I can't imagine how Brice & Juwan feel right now. I bet the whole team is pretty pissed off. I hope they take out all their frustrations on Iowa & whoever's next in Indy. GBR

I'm just... damn man. The boys fought so hard tonight. So many close calls this year. We just can't finish close games. It's the Nebrasketball version of the "best whatever number win football team" we had a few years back under Frost. So many gut punches.

Oh, my better half doesn't want to hear all the shit I spew in the heat of the moment. My 17 y.o. son has been willing to put up with me, though. He hurts as much as I do after these gut-punches. Sometimes it is really hard to be a Husker fan, just figure out a way to beat the socks off the Iowa squad on Sunday & whoever's next in Indy. Get some mojo back. GBR

Proud of the effort and the fight. Toughly fought game that was decided up until the buzzer. Kelly Pfeifer is probably top 2 worst refs in the big ten, so NOT SHOCKED he called a terrible game. Not just the movement on the out of bounds, but the Ts that were missed and the Brice flagrant. I'll give them the out of bounds on Connor, as I could see where they could say it touched his hand before going out. Don't think it was conclusive, which it needs to be, but can see it. 

 

Iowa is dead in the water. Close that one, lick your wounds and win a game or two in the BTT. Quality of wins to this point help a lot to keep us in the conversation, just need a few more wins.

Agree but this season isn't over and the story isn't finished.  This should galvanize the team into rage mode.  Show no mercy against Iowa and whoever they put in front of us in the Big tournament.  This year can still be special. Play pissed and fight like hell.

Was playing around with the B1G tourney generator... there was a scenario where we end up the 15 seed and play Indiana the first round. Should we beat Iowa and Indiana lose to OSU, that could be another play-in type game. 

 

Most any other game the first round wouldn't give us much of a boost.

We had some sections of this game where we had our best looking offense of the season. Tons of movement off the ball, lots of back cuts, lots of easy buckets at the rim.

 

Connor also seems to be fading away on the vast majority of his shots. There are times when he has to, but for a lot of them it doesn’t look like he needed to. You could tell later in the game when he was making them that he stepped into them.

 

Brice is incredible, but at the end of the game we deferred to him too much. I’m sure tired legs had a lot to do with this.

Sorry to the fans on here.  That was a tough one.  I am the last guy to get on refs but these non live ball variety ones where bs upgrading to flagrant and then a guy standing over our guy taunting him and then a guy bouncing a ball twenty feet in the air in protest are too much to take.  All three were shitty calls that involved free throws and possession.  All three went against us.  All non live action calls.
