I can't root against Buzz, 'cause I love the dude as a coach.

We gave up 98 points to a team and you're not winning games like that unless you're Loyola under Westhead.

I hope I'm alive next year to see the big one. Clock's ticking...loud.

I'm not a pissed as usual because getting to the tournament feels like it's going to be a regular occurrence, and I enjoy watching this year's team and last.

Hey, we got beat.  Not much more to say.  We are 0-8, I am 72 but hope will spring eternal that we find some jewels in the portal and try again next year.

You are young yet. When you are 73 we will win!! GBR

By far our worst defensive effort of the year.

FUUUUUUCK YOURSELF TREEEEVVV..FUCK YOURSELF TREV

The timing of him leaving was an omen.

I’ll never forgive him for what he did.

Call me unreasonable, I don’t care. It was a huge distraction at the worst possible time.

Dang.  Crap.  No way I get to sleep tonight.

Get some rest. One step forward two steps back. Somehow winning the NIT cursed us.

Great season.

We have talent on deck and a good system and staff in place.  Plus a healthy NIL.

I think Fred will send that monkey packing sooner than later.  This season wasn’t a flash in the pan.  It was mostly outstanding basketball with highly coachable kids.  They’ll be back.

This may be an unpopular opinion but keisei is fun and has been a great Husker but we may be better next year without his lack of defense.

So you are putting this on him? He scored 21pts. Every team’s best defender was on him. He was grabbed and pulled in every game. Defensively he improved every season. He wasn’t an elite defender, however he was average. His scoring more than offset any defensive deficiencies.
It will be very difficult to replace him. Best pure shooter since Pike.

I’m gonna give jsthusker some grace since it’s right after a very tough loss and people are posting emotional things. But anyone who thinks the team will be better off next season because of his lack of defense doesn’t have a clue what kind of impact he had on the team in the locker room, national exposure, spacing the floor, opening things up offensively. We will not be better off next year without him. Kind of a strange thing to post for someone who averages like 3 posts on here per year

I don't disagree with him in the essence of his post. And I say this with Keisei being my favorite Huskers all time. I don't think it's about Tominaga, but the team that's constructed around him. We needed a D. Walker today. That has nothing to do with Tominaga.

I think we needed a Bandomeal, Walker, and Greisel type.

Yes. But out of those 3 if you could only choose 1 I think Walker would have given us the best chance.

Not a single person played solid D tonight. It wasn’t just Keisei who was blown by.  It’s not super difficult to replace 14 points a game, but what is difficult to replace is how those 14 points came to be.  He was electric. He could flip a switch at any point.  I absolutely do not feel good about not having KT next year.  We can makeup 14 points in the aggregate, but it’ll be hard to makeup what we’re losing with Keisei.

Definitely Bando. We needed a lock down perimeter defender.

I was going to say the same thing.  I feel Walker would have just been a Mast replacement without the shooting ability.
