Bugeaters1 Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Daryl Hall and John Oates, commonly known as Hall & Oates, were an American pop rock duo formed in Philadelphia in 1970. Daryl Hall was generally the lead vocalist; John Oates primarily played the electric guitar and provided backing vocals. There are lots of bands from Pennsylvania. Sorry Cip been busy today, but you go. Cazzie22 and Handy Johnson 2 Quote
cipsucks Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Pennsylvania is similar to Michigan where they have a butt load of musical talent. They have a similar fate awaiting them in Lincoln, Saturday. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
millerhusker Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Watched their game against Michigan State last night. They play an ugly brand of basketball and will yell/whine at the officials after every call that doesn’t go their way. Similar to Rutgers. Glad we don’t play them at their place this year. Quote

hhcmatt Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Is there a music group from the part of Pennsylvania that people don't want to be from? Quote

Nighthawk Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Will be missing this game due to prior commitment. My brother who is not a sport fan will be joining my dad at this game. He seldom does stuff with my parents, so happy he's going to be having some father son bonding time. Our dad is in his 80s...so this is much needed and much overdue. throwback Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Big favorites again Saturday - we have 5 straight outright wins when we're favored in B1G games. Expecting to get #6 tomorrow. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
AGHANSEN Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Hopefully Tominaga can have a big game tomorrow. I wouldn't be shocked if he is flirting with another 30 point game. This Penn State team both staff and players (except a few) have never gone against Keisei. It will be really interesting to see how PSU tries to guard Tominaga. Quote

The Lions 3pt defense has been pretty good this year. Hopefully he gets a lot of backdoors and easy two's. Quote
hhcmatt Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Penn State at 11 am isn't a great start time against a opponent that doesn't have basketball tradition that people can get up for....brings back memories of us losing an early Sunday morning game to Northwestern. That week of rest will help though. millerhusker 1 Quote
royalfan Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 hoiberg mentioned wanting to have multiple ball handlers on the court tomorrow to deal with pressure. Interested to see if starters change, hhcmatt 1 Quote
hhcmatt Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Haven't really done this before but hoping to get there near to when the gates open and get one of my boys a few autographs and pictures. Vinny and cipsucks 2 Quote

That week of rest will help though. Saturday is a much different animal than Sunday. People are ready to party on a Saturday. Weather is decent tomorrow. I foresee an energetic crowd. The team shouldn't need it at this stage of the season, though. Just get the "W" and we're one step closer to dancing! Quote

We've had luck going down to the corner where the players stretch with the elastic bands and do weight work. My boys got a half dozen autographs and pictures a few years ago. Good memories. hhcmatt 1 Quote
royalfan Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 I am pretty worried about this one. They are pretty quick jumping rim protectors as well. We really need to bring energy on the boards to get more possessions. Quote
