Ohio St. (13-5) vs. Nebraska (14-5) Game Thread

Recommended Posts

Saw Keita warming up and still looked like he walked with a limp. Was thinking about the Blaise Keita being available for emergency use and I'm assuming that means a scenario where Gary can't go and Mast, Allick, and maybe Diop all have 2 fouls in the first half.  Not sure if all our post players somehow fouled out in the second half if we'd pull the trigger.

Interested to see if Ohio St takes the Rutgers and NW approach of playing football against us and see if we wilt.  Last couple games it seems the strategy on our high screening action has been to push and pull, especially against KT and RM, but really all of those cutters and screeners, and see if that throws us off. Then, of course, teams have figured out that they can crash the boards against us with success.  Here's to hoping Josiah's toughness pairs with RM well and we can perservere.

I wonder how the refs would take it if we came out and warmed up in full pads?

Spot on.  We did a much better job though, against Nortwestern, with back cuts and rolls to the rim.

Think I mentioned specifically Allick doing this in the NW game thread. He was getting killed on both ends the whole game.

Yup.  My biggest concern on a team's scouting report is "they hit the offensive boards well"

For the first time Lunardi doesn't have us in any of his first/last/next four categories. We're solidly in as a 9 seed.

We’re pretty solidly in most brackets on bracket matrix after that NW win.  Believe it or not, beating other bubbly teams allows you to move up and them to move down.

Highest seed was an 8

Lowest seed was “out” in two of 76 brackets.
